On 15th June 2009, I have a Order coming in. The customer bought 2pcs of clothes from me; Scottish Blouse - Green and Sequins Long Top. But because there's an error in the listing, the supposingly White colour for the long top she ordered is sold and the one I have on hand is Black. Told buyer about it and she wanted the Black one. Everything went smooth; Invoice sent & payment received nearly on the spot. Send out her parcel on the same day too.
On 16th June 2009, buyer emailed informing that she received the parcel.
However on 23rd June 2009, she PM me in Gtalk saying she wore the long top and saw a few holes in it. I'm just curious. How can you wore a torn clothes out if it's torn as claimed?? She also mentioned that it's very bad quality = like paper. THIS PHRASE I CAN TELL YOU IT'S UNTRUE! My other customers didn't complain and I'm wearing one too!! The material is a superb lycra! How can it be torn like paper??
Before I even get the chance to say anything, she insisted on an exchange which according to our T&C and every other blogshop or even retail shop in MALAYSIA, there's no such thing as exchange especially after you've worn it. If the clothes is never worn, I can consider to exchange with her. Throughout the conversation, she never gave me a chance to speak and insisted to change with a jacket of ours and kept on blaming me for not listening, never appreciate feedback and that I should listen to her as she's a "experience buyer" and that she's also into business and I think she have a company in KL.
The solution? Bla bla bla...Instead of arguing with her (I'm a lady, unlike some ppl), I agreed for an exchange provided she send the item back to me. But she refuse to even take a step into the solution. How to help if you're not even willing to post back to me? And I think its pretty stupid for me to drive all the way from Kajang to KL or PJ just for an exchange. My loss would be from RM29 to RM39++ if so. After a few debate, we exchanged our Crop Jacket to her in KLCC (since I need to collect my chq book from Maybank KLCC). We promised to meet at 11.15am (inital time is 11am) and I was there by 11am only to received a sms saying she can only make it 11.30am. I stood there waiting for her until 12.10pm. Which I'm already 25mins late for my next COD stop! But all those was OK until I got home.
When I got home at night and settle down, I took the top out and I had the biggest shock in my life. The top was so damn obvious that it's purposely cut by a scissor!!! I'm so damn pissed off that my top is totally destroyed!!! I took out my phone & sms the buyer. As expected, she of course never responded. On Monday 29th June 2009, I emailed her the top picture and of course she never respond to that. Why would she? She already get what she want. Why would she respond to such thing? Wow. Such a shocking thing to do for someone who's into business.
You see. I NEVER owe her anything from start. Even till the end, I still don't owe her anything. Now, she owe me! Maybe she doesn't like the top or maybe she can't fit nicely in the top so the only way to ask for a damn exchange is by destroying a perfect top and blame it on me! I was actually kinda angry at her accusation and her unwillingness to listen. When this kind of situation is brought up, I would expect the person to work things out with me to solve problem. But in this case, sadly to say that she only want to solve HER problem. Throughout my 6 years of doing online business, I HAVE NEVER encounter such buyer, such accusation and such case. As a seller, I've done my part. As a human, I've too done my part. I can ignore this as IT'S WORN. But instead I suck it up even it's not my fault. I can expect this from new buyers and not from a businesswoman. Oh well. Let's treat this as a donation for charity.
This is the exact condition of the top when I send to the buyer!(Spot #1, 2, 3 is the torn area)
Does this look like manufacture fault which I never notice when I took out the top for photo shooting & when I check??
Isn't this so obvious that it's being cut off by a scissor?
There's no way you can torn this even when wearing unless you ran into a spike!

Another cut that is same like the cut on #1
So obvious!
To the particular buyer...do me a favour. Don't try to respond to this. I'm tired of all these things. I know you're a businesswoman and a very well "experience buyer". I know and I've expected you to sabotaj me from this post. By all mean...do it. If you can get pass your inner guts, just do it. I'm just a girl trying to earn a decent living. I do nothing wrong and I never betray my own faith. And yeah...I don't expect you to buy from me again.
